前から読もう読もうと手にとってはいたのだが、なかなか着手できずにいた。やっぱりこれは重要文献です。ちょっと引用。

"The ironic result is that disagreement is always on the verge of being eliminated, and the only individuals who are equipped to take on the full role of a participatory citizen are those imbedded within cozy cocoons of like-minded associates." (p.6)

　こういう本を読むと、ポリサイだってそう捨てたもんじゃないでしょと言いたくなる。それにしてももっと早くこの本を読んでおかなかったことが悔やまれるなあ。福岡でもHuckfeldtに会う機会はあったのに。
